The InviNets Portal not only shows the readings of individual sensors, but also draws clear heat maps showing the distribution of temperature and humidity in the room.
Clicking on the graph displays a heat map corresponding to that moment in time.
In addition, you can easily select the length of the time segment shown in the upper graph - for example, 1 day, and then move the window in the lower graph to view the temperature of each day.
Finally, you can drag-select the area on the graph and zoom-in on exactly that stretch of time.
InviNets wireless sensors are powered by batteries and send environmental readings to the Concentrator via radio waves. Therefore, the installation is fast and non-invasive.
At the back of the case, sensors have magnets that allow them to be pinned to any surface in the display case - for example, under a shelf where they are not visible - or on other metal parts of the building.
Their small size makes it possible to put them behind paintings, tapestries or sculptures. This means, that the measurements are made where it is most important, but the measurement system itself can remain hidden from the visitors.
The sensor is powered by standard AA / LR6 batteries, which last for 3 to 5 years, depending on network configuration.
The Portal allows sharing rooms with employees without giving them administrative access. This is possible via the shared link mechanism. The person who received such link can view the data and generate the Excel reports but is not able to change the portal configuration in any way. Links give a read-only access.
This makes it possible to share readings for a specific exhibit with the responsible conservator, without the risk of accidentally altering the portal configuration.
The portal can also overlay readings on photos of objects where sensors are located. With this view, one can quickly and easily check conditions next to specific exhibits.
In addition, the color range of readings can be configured so that the green color indicates appropriate conditions, while blue and red warn about deviations from the norm.
This allows you to notice any problems at a glance.
The download button allows you to instantly download and save the temperature graph that you are currently viewing, maintaining zoom and selection. Therefore it is very easy to insert them into documents and emails.
Portal allows you to generate and download reports in Excel file format. Two types of reports are available: period average charts and percent distribution charts.
The first contains a line graph showing the average of temperature or humidity in a given room for specified periods of time.
The second contains a pie chart showing what percent of time the parameter was in a given interval.
The portal allows you to configure alerts which warn about parameters exceeding preconfigured thresholds. For example, the system allows you to define an alert:
If the maximum humidity of the sensors 425A1, 425A2 in Gallery II exceeds 60% for more than 1 minute, send an email to responsible.person@customer.com and an SMS message to +48 111 111 111.
When the conditions return to normal, a second notification is issued.
The portal also provides the ability to temporarily disable certain alerts so they are not sent during routine maintenance.
The InviNets Portal is hosted on a cloud-based server. This has many advantages.
Customers can access it from any computer with a web browser, as well as smartphones and tablets.
When you are logged in to the portal, just open http://portal.invinets.com to see the readings. Access is fast and requires no additional clicks, shares, or VPN logins.
This also helps when you want many people to use the portal simultaneously.
We offer the ability to validate some or all sensors in a statutory accredited laboratory. This confirms the accuracy of the measurements collected by the sensors.
The official documents confirm that the temperature error is +/- 0.2 ° C and the relative humidity measurement error is +/- 2%.
Sensors and their concentrator can organize themselves into the so-called MESH network. This means that sensor readings are transferred to the concentrator via other sensors in the room. This solves problems with radio coverage, because not every sensor has to be within the radio range of the concentrator. Network only requires that there is a path between sensors to the concentrator for the readings to be collected.
The concentrator receives all readings from the network and then sends them through the GSM network to the InviNets Cloud Portal. This means that only AC power for the concentrator is required for network operation. Independence from building infrastructure simplifies and speeds up installation and lowers the system cost.
